She was deemed a quality vessel or the sacred knowledge of the Machine God, for making a servitor of her would be a waste of such potential, and inducted into the Cult Mechanicus. To increase efficiency, some amount of neural reprogramming was employed to avoid possible complications that could be caused by potential unwillingness.

Prior to her induction, Luck was an aggressively outgoing penal-worlder thug, but after, she’s become cloistered and withdrawn.
What are this character’s moral/ethical limits?
Having been raised on a brutal penal world and having devoted herself entirely to the Cult Mechanicus, Luck sees little inherent value in human life. On the other hand, she is devoted wholeheartedly to the beliefs of the Mechanicum, and would never knowingly violate those principles.
